A 2.5 Day Immersion Into the Discovery of and Practice of Insider Secrets for Working Cattle

Spend the weekend with Shannon Pigott, Barbra Schulte, and like-minded COWgirls for a 2.5-day intensive clinic to learn how cattle think and respond to pressure... what your horse needs to do to be accurate on a cow... and how, as a rider, you help your horse rate, control, and turn a cow.

MAY 14th – 16th, 2021
Miracle Farm, Brenham, Texas

"Thanks for such a great time.  I worked my show mare yesterday and I was able to translate what I learned and really had a good work on her!" ~ Cyndi

Cowgirl circles and storytelling plus a friendly team competition on Sunday with prizes. You'll share great times and make cowgirl friends for life.

Is this Adventure Cow Intensive Clinic for you?
Yes, if……

  • My horse has worked cattle before and has had some professional training on cattle (either cutting, reined cow horse, etc.)
  • I am an experienced rider who has shown or would be interested in learning how to show in cattle classes
  • I want to solve my current challenges working a cow
  • I want some more time working a cow... I want to practice more
  • I want to deepen my knowledge and experience of working a cow.
  • I want to leave the program with the knowledge and skills to continue building my confidence going forward
  • I can’t wait to have fun, share experiences and make new friends with likeminded cowgirls

What makes this clinic different?

While you will have lots of opportunities to work a cow, you will also have time to have fun with the other cowgirl participants. Club Cowgirl events are all about friendship, fun, and camaraderie.

The coaching and the environment are positive and uplifting. You will feel safe being yourself with Shannon, Barb and the other participants.

The topics of clinics involving cattle focus on a specific cow sport, rather than foundation cattle knowledge and skill development. Cattle are mentioned as an incidental sidebar. This clinic provides an exceptional opportunity for you to gain layers of knowledge, skill, and multiple experiences with cattle.

This Cow Intensive Clinic focuses on three main topic areas: the cow, the horse, and the rider. You'll understand how cattle think and move, the essential form and rhythm of the horse as he/she works a cow, and the horsemanship skills necessary for you to have grounded balance and ride your horse accurately on a cow.

One of the most common complaints about clinics is the amount of time 'standing around' and waiting for your turn. In this clinic, however, you will not be idle. You will ride with two accomplished clinicians as well as engage independently at learning stations. You may also choose to rest or take a break.

We have you covered with all meals, snacks, water and wine for evening gatherings.
Friday afternoon light snacks (during the classroom workshop) and dinner.
Saturday light breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Sunday light breakfast, and lunch.
