At Hollow Top Angus Ranch
It's designed to help cutters advance their skills, no matter where they are.
It's about cultivating deeper layers of inner game and outer skill mastery in:
Create a plan for practice and showing by breaking your run down into 'chunks,' (prep, cuts, working the cow, between cattle time) - including cattle strategies.
Discover how to prepare yourself and your horse as you simultaneously develop essential horsemanship skills: guiding with your feet on cuts, use of seat, independent use of feet
Strategize, set up and make clean, credit-earning cuts in the middle of the pen. How to trouble-shoot challenging situations that inevitably arise while making a cut.
Learn your best next steps to develop the fundamentals for working a cow: position, form, holding the line, rhythm.
Discover how to debrief your run in 'chunks' so you can focus on the most needed next small steps to improve your skills methodically.
Leave with personalized action steps and discover how to supplement ongoing in-person practices with activities at home to keep growing your skills when you can't be in the saddle.
